Rimsha Ali, LPC (she/her)
As a therapist of South Asian descent and the eldest daughter of an immigrant family, I bring a profound understanding of how family dynamics and generational trauma impact mental health. This informs my therapeutic approach, rooted in empathy for clients facing similar challenges. With extensive experience across diverse ages, sexual orientations, and cultural backgrounds, I prioritize creating a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore and heal.
In my practice, I am committed to delivering comprehensive counseling tailored to each individual’s needs. I guide clients on journeys of self-discovery and healing, empowering them to tap into their strengths and resilience. Through compassionate listening, respect, and collaborative dialogue, I foster empathy and facilitate personal growth.
Drawing on evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness techniques, I customize my approach to suit each client’s unique circumstances, supporting them in overcoming obstacles and achieving their goals.
I can provide therapy in English, Urdu and Hindi.
